- 12 oz. penne pasta
- 1can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15.25 oz.) sweet corn kernels, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. An a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
